A Framework to Create Change

A Framework to Create Change is a interactive workshop by Wil Massara, 90 minutes to a full day. The same creating-change framework YLAA has run with tens of thousands of young people: identify the issue, understand the causes, explore opportunities, plan, assign roles, pitch.

In this hands-on session I take participants through the framework YLAA has refined with tens of thousands of young people since 2018. It is designed to turn ideas into action.

Groups identify a big issue, understand its causes, explore opportunities, build a project plan, assign roles and pitch it. It works for a Year 9 student leadership team and for a council youth advisory group, and it works for a graduate cohort that has been told to innovate without being shown how.

What the room leaves with

Participants leave with a real project plan, not a worksheet, and the confidence to pitch it to someone who can say yes.
